Lake Nakuru National Park is sure to be one of the highlights of your safari in Kenya-home to wildlife. For a start, you’ll almost certainly see rhinos, lions and endangered Rothschild’s giraffes.
With numerous national parks, urban and rural cities, azure water bodies, geographical marvels, and pristine beaches, being some of the best places to visit.`
You visit Lake Naivasha to see hippos, the highest of Kenya’s Rift Valley lakes at 1884m above sea level. You might also see zebras and giraffes close to the shore of the lake.
Watch also for flamingo, leopard and plenty of birds, all set against a beautiful backdrop of acacia forest, lake and escarpment.
One of our favorite places to look for wildlife in Kenya is the Masai Mara National Reserve. The wildlife here is incredible, with big cats (lions, leopards and cheetahs) and elephants among the highlights.
The best thing about visiting Amboseli is seeing large elephants with big tusks with Africa’s highest mountain i.e. Mt Kilimanjaro, in the background. It’s also an excellent place to see lions, cheetahs, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, hyenas, wildebeests and gazelles.
The East African country has emerged as a popular tourist destination not only among the adventure lovers but also among families, and honeymooners. Here, 420 bird species have been recorded here, so make sure you bring your binoculars.
