July to October

These four months are a great time to visit Kenya if you are interested in wildlife viewing. During these months, the weather is warm and dry, making it easier to spot a wide range of animals in the wild.

This also happens to be the Great Migration season, when millions of wildebeests and zebras travel to the Masai Mara National Park from the Serengeti in Tanzania. This is a truly incredible sight to behold, and it is one of the most popular game-viewing activities in Kenya.

November to March

If you are interested in trekking and hiking at some of Kenya’s many national parks, these months can be a great time to visit as well. The weather is warm, with less rainfall and clear sky, making it easier to explore the terrain.

You can also enjoy some of Kenya’s popular festivals during this time, such as the Lamu Cultural Festival in November and the Kenya Wildlife Week in March.

April to June

During these months  the weather is usually hot and rainy. However, this is a great time of year to visit Kenya if you are looking for a more authentic cultural experience.

The safari price per person is often lower during this time, and you can also attend some of Kenya’s  festivals. These include the Masai Olympics in April and the Nairobi International Trade Fair in June.
